Winter thoughts
I know many complain and are sick of snow but I would choose it any day over the endless rain we are having this morning. Gray on Gray on Gray. Yesterday at the shop there was a definite increase in sales of bright color scarves. It is only early February but the mini burst of warm weather and hint of sun this weekend made us all remember what it's like to leave the house without a hat and gloves. But, if Puxsutawney Phil is right and there is to be six more weeks of winter let there be some of the white stuff too....just to brighten things a bit. We'll have plenty of rain in April.

One Cool Cat
When I arrived in Tallinn at the apartment building where I would be staying I immediately notcied this little cat high in a tree. He had a birds eye view of birds and people. There were a number of other cats wandering around. I learned they lived in a shed in the back and noticed that food was put out every day for them. I, who place a chair next to my bed each evening so my full figured 16 year old cat can jump up to join us, can't help but worry about these little fur creatures out in the elements but....they seem to be faring well.Labels: cat, Estonia, snow, Swedish Antiques, Tallinn
Tallinn Estonia Day One
I Landed in Tallinn Friday in The midst Of heavy fog. Landing was attempted twice until we finally Touched ground. The Jittery landing was Worth it ... The heavy fog combined with The snow covered trees presented an exquisite winter wonderland. At right is a shot Of Old Town Tallinn Roofs from above. You can see Stone Towers on The Left Side Of The photo. I am here Visiting my Husband's cousin who Regained her family's apartment in Tallinn, And now lives here once again. (After Escaping to Sweden in The 40's when her mother and grandmother were sent to Siberia)
