Sue's purchases and travels

Peter and I traveled to Budd Lake NJ for the 25th annual ScanFest. It's about our 4th year participating as a vendor. It's a great event always held the Sunday of Labor Day in Vasa Park which is a lovely park with lots of trees. We've always been blessed with Indian Summer weather and good attendance. This year the entertainment seemed especially good--flutist, wandering accordion players, folk singers, Troubadours from Sweden, a Victor Borge type pianist and more. You can come and really spend a whole day. It is located near the Delaware Water Gap. It's about a 4 hour drive from DC so it would require an overnight stay. It would be a fun family outing...there's stuff for the kids as well as adults. Think about it for next year!
