Stockholm Sunday Evening

We arrived in Stockholm at 4:00 and I realized that some vendors at my favorite Sunday Flea Market (Hortorget) were still out and selling-thanks to Sunny skies!  I jumped out of the car (Leaving Peter and David to unload the luggage) and hurried to see what was left.  Many vendors had begun to pack up but I did find a caviar spoon, a sweet set of baby cutlery, and unusual hand painted screens that must have been part of a ladies  fan.  I also bought a rag rug, a giant Brown Willow tea cup, and a kosta boda vase.  Peter and David had checked into the hotel so I purchased a bunch of flowers to make it more homelike and then proceeded to unpack and "nest" since we would be here for 5 nights.

Our Tiramisu Dessert...Grattis at Agaton Restaurant!

We chose to have Dinner in old town at Agaton, one of our favorite restaurants.  David had a pizza, I a salad topped with cray fish and Peter a pasta dish.  We enjoyed our dinner outdoors with a great view of Lake Malaren.  We told the Maitre'd  that Agaton is our favorite restaurant and that we have been coming for 10 years.  He then insisted that we have dessert "on the house"-some wonderful Tiramisu!

Doorway in Old Town

Walking back we did lots of window shopping and took these photos.  It is now after 11 pm and it is relatively dark but still not pitch black.  Tomorrow I hope to do lots of shopping and try out a new flea market.  Good night!
