Sue's purchases and travels

As in...underground railroad. The Swedish system was carved through rock and the resulting tunnels are decorated so creatively at each station. The scene of ruins is located in Kungstragarden (I think!) and the lovely tiles are at Nackrosen which is the stop we used in Solna. The tiles are from the beautiful "stoves" that used to be the sole way to heat homes. As people began to modernize their homes many had the stoves removed. (another cousin, as architect here in Sweden remembers ripping them out and hauling away the tiles) As you can see...these are far too beautiful to be lost forever.
